Self-referrals and GP/Specialist Mental Health Care Plan referrals welcome. Please contact your private health fund (no referral required) to check if psychology is included in your cover.
Appointments
STANDARD APPOINTMENTS (face-to-face, video or telephone) may be made online via my Client Portal (use Online Bookings button below) where you may manage your appointments and invoices. Eligible EAP clients please use your dedicated app/portal for bookings. For OTHER SERVICES you may leave a SMS/voicemail on 0416 235 475, send an email to justin@mackenziepsych.com or complete the contact form below. Please note that 24 business hours are required to cancel appointments otherwise you may be charged. Appointments are available weekdays during office hours only.
Accessibility and Parking
Free street parking is available off Fullarton Rd in front of the building, Dulwich Ave, Parkstone Ave, and Swaine Ave. For public transport use stop 3 for Bus 147 in Dulwich Ave. Access to the consulting room is via a lift to Level 3.
Initial consultation
You will receive a welcome email with a link to an online intake and informed consent form to please be completed prior to your first appointment. SMS reminders are sent two days before all appointments.
Fees
Fees are set at $205 per consultation (unless arranged otherwise) and may be reviewed annually. Fees are payable on the day of service. Upon full payment of your consultation your invoice can be submitted electronically by my practice to Medicare to claim your rebate ($96.65). Members need to submit their own claims to private health funds after payment (usually via a portal online or in-person at a branch).
Emergencies
For emergencies during or after office hours please call the Mental Health Services 24 Hour Crisis and Emergency Assistance Line 13 14 65 or call 000 or present at any Hospital emergency department.
